Location

The New Mexico History Museum is located on the north side of the historic Santa Fe Plaza.

The museum entrance is located at 113 Lincoln Avenue.  Entrance to the historic Palace of the Governors is also accessed through the main entrance of the New Mexico History Museum.

Public transit

Service to the Santa Fe Plaza is provided for free by public shuttle that connects with the Rail Runner station, a number of downtown hotels, and Museum Hill—home of the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture and the Museum of International Folk Art.
