The New Mexico History Museum’s Educational Team develops dynamic educational resources for teachers and students of all ages across New Mexico. We strive to offer a welcoming place for exploration of multifaceted views on New Mexico history, dialogue that bridges social and cultural divides, and reflection on the conditions needed for a more resilient, just, and sustainable future.
Whether you visit us in person or use our materials in the classroom, we will provide New Mexico State Standards aligned educational materials and engaging experiential learning opportunities!
School Field Trips
The museum welcomes student groups of all ages free of charge with advance notice. This includes public, private, home-schools, preschools through universities, youth clubs, camps, and similar organizations.
Hochberg Early Learning Academy
The Hochberg Early Learning Academy offers museum visits and educational programs to pre-kindergarteners and HeadStart classes including their families.
New Mexico Historical Timeline
Timeline summaries give age specific overviews of each historical period that students can refer to when filling out the New Mexico Historical Timeline Worksheets.
